Earl of East Opens Fourth Storefront in London's Design Haven

Earl of East has opened its fourth London store on Redchurch Street in Shoreditch.

The new location is home to both emerging designers and established homeware and lifestyle brands, alongside the label's own collection of home fragrances and bathing products. Decorated with original artworks by London artist Jason Tessier, the space boasts a split-level layout with floor-to-ceiling windows.

“Redchurch Street has always been one of our favorite places to shop and hang out and we’ve loved seeing it evolve to become a destination for independent and experimental businesses like ours," said Niko Dafkos, co-founder of Earl East, in a statement. "The street has a real neighborhood vibe and we can’t think of a better location to personify the Earl of East brand.”

Employing furniture and interior design practice Fred Rigby Studio, Earl of East's latest destination features custom oak and powder-coated green metal shelving, which complements a royal blue-tiled table and matching white-tiled counter that reside opposite.

"With the store concept, we wanted to bring a splash of color and playfulness to the street," said Fred Rigby, founder of Fred Rigby Studio, in a statement. "We did this by using colorful tiles for the counters and green painted metal shelving on our modular Ladder Shelving, which we’d previously made in orange for the Coal Drops Yard store, creating a subtle synergy across the stores.”
