As the highly anticipated Season 2 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has yet to hit the screens in December, Maruyama Gelato based in Hokkaido, Japan has wrapped up its own monaka ice cream bar inspired by Nezuko's bamboo mouthpiece.
A number of collaborations and collectibles have been released to tie us over in the past few months such as ice trays and collaborations with UNIQLO, GU and BANDAI. In partnership with the Japanese gelato store based in Sapporo the dessert features 100% Hokkaido milk gelato wrapped up in a wafer textured layer made of monaka with a green tint to resemble the bamboo accessory.
The Nezuko-inspired treat retails for ¥200 JPY (approximately $1.76 USD) and can be found at select convenience stores and supermarkets within Hokkaido.
In case you missed it, Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream and Rick & Morty crafted a "Multiverse Collection."
