Virgil Abloh Reveals Off-White™ x The MET Collaborative Collection

In celebration of The MET and The Costume Institute's 2021 exhibit, In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, Virgil Abloh is amongst one of the various American designers slated to drop a collaborative merch collection for the museum.

Abloh recently revealed his joint collection, dropping through his label Off-White™. The latest capsule sees him designing very literal Off-White™ merchandise in his signature, straightforward textual blueprint. The pieces include a selection of casual wear and accessories. The luxury streetwear brand has fashioned a pullover hoodie, t-shirt cap and handbag all of which are decorated with block letter texts that spell out, "THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART HOODIE/T-SHIRT DESIGNED BY OFF-WHITE™ C/O VIRGIL ABLOH Ⓒ 2021" in all caps.

The apparel items are expected to drop on The MET's Instagram shop as well as the The MET online shop. Besides Virgil Abloh, other deisngers including Brother Vellies, Pyer Moss and Collina Strada will release merch drops on a monthly basis through to April 2022.
