A hotel based on Pixar's Toy Story franchise is set to open at Tokyo Disney Resort this 2021.
According to reports, the designers want “to make you feel like you’ve stepped into the world of toys,” while the concept art reveals a colorful exterior and life-sized building blocks as main design points. The Toy Story Hotel will supposedly be 11 floors tall with a total of 595 rooms and will be built just outside Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line to offer guests seamless access into Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea.
The hotel is being billed as a "moderate-type" accommodation option for guests looking to stay at the park for at least one night. The new alternative will be the mid-point between the economically-priced Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel and the more high-end Disney Ambassador, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea Mira Costa hotels.
Stay tuned for an official opening date.
