ZEYA, China's very first hard seltzer, is bringing a healthier alternative to a market dominated by beer, wine, baijiu and other traditional liquors. The company has introduced four vibrant flavors: White Peach, Passionfruit, Grapefruit and Cucumber.
Each concoction incorporates popular ingredients commonly found in Chinese food and beverage products. Cucumber, for example, has been a long-recurring flavor, alongside other flavors like White Peach, but they've been tweaked with the rich taste of sparkling, gluten-free soda and alcohol. Beyond health-conscious elements, like sea salt and citric acid, the drinks are also made with naturally gluten-free ingredients to faithfully capture the taste of each flavor — just 84 calories per can.
ZEYA's hard seltzers are currently available on the company's website for ¥55 RMB per six-pack (approximately $8 USD).
In case you missed it, Topo Chico has announced the release of its new hard seltzer line.
