New Balance has revealed a new T-shirt capsule as part of its "9BOX" series, featuring collaborative imagery with the upcoming Netflix sci-fi show, Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045.
New Balance's "9BOX" continues its theme of "sports x art" through its latest collection featuring artwork from Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 illustrator Ilya Kuvshinov. Black and white T-shirts incorporate a graphic of the show's main protagonist Motoko Kusanagi with New Balance sneakers resting on her head and the "Fun for Sports. Fun for NB." motto printed on the bottom. Long-sleeve tees display members of Public Security Section 9 in a cube illustration with "Wonderful not to have any noise" printed on the right sleeve.
The items are set to release on the New Balance website and physical stores in Japan from November 20 to December 2. The short and long-sleeve tees are priced at ¥6,600 and ¥7,700 JPY (approximately $58 to $68 USD) respectively.
