Following the announcement of an upcoming Li-Ning collaboration and a "Dinosauria" exhibition earlier this year, Hajime Sorayama partners with long-time collaborator and stockist 2G to launch a "T-Rex" keychain.
Aside from the "Sexy Robot" sculpture that Sorayama is most famous for, the metallic T-Rex is another well-known and recurring silhouette in the artist's works. The mini bionic Tyrannosaurus displayed in the upcoming drop is presented in a transparent plastic display box attached to a keyring. The collectible can also be removed from the box to serve as a standalone display piece. Sorayama's stylized signature can be found engraved on the metal keychain tag, the dinosaur's left leg and on the bottom of the display platform.
