Versace is fueling rumors that it will hold a secret second show with fellow Italian label Fendi during Milan Fashion Week.
While Versace already has a show slated for Friday evening, which is currently still scheduled, the Milanese fashion house “sent out a cryptic gold-and-white ‘save the date’ — signed by creative director and former owner Donatella Versace—to a small group of fashion insiders inviting them to a Sunday event,” according to Business of Fashion.
Amid months worth of rumors about a potential collaboration between Versace and the Rome-based company Fendi, the alleged secret show was seemingly foreshadowed by a July Instagram post from Kim Kardashian, picturing her between Donatella Versace and Fendi’s Kim Jones, who helms the LVMH-owned label's haute couture and womenswear.

Meanwhile, Silvia Venturini Fendi serves as its creative director of accessories, menswear and its children’s line.
“Donatella has been working with both of LVMH-owned Fendi’s creative directors, Silvia Venturini Fendi and Kim Jones, on a line set to be revealed at the Sunday event,” BOF wrote.
Kardashian’s involvement in the potential collaboration could not be confirmed and Versace and Fendi have yet to respond to the publication regarding the rumored partnership.
It seems that the fashion industry will have to wait until this Sunday to see what Donatella has been working on behind the scenes.
