The Roc Nation School of Music, Sports and Entertainment at Long Island University has launched its inaugural merchandise collection with all proceeds benefiting the school’s Hope Scholarship Program.
The program was created to prepare students for careers in music, performance, sports business management and entrepreneurship. Announced in 2020, the first class of students has already begun its program matriculation this fall. For 25% of enrolled students, the school's Hope Scholarship Program provides no debt upon graduation, enrichment activities, personal mentorship, career networking and development, community engagement and collaborative research opportunities.
"This partnership, envisioned alongside LIU President Dr. Cline, is a true investment in our community and young people in Brooklyn, in New York City and beyond," said Desiree Perez, CEO of Roc Nation.
Featuring a grayscale color palette, the campus-ready collection includes hoodies, t-shirts, sweaters, shorts, hats, notebooks, water bottles and more. In the coming months, the merchandise is set to offer new color options.
The full collection is available now online and on-campus at Canteen, the university’s new student-run store.
