XLARGE is releasing a collaborative mini 4WD with major Japanese model brand Tamiya.
Based on Tamiya's Cyclone Magnum Premium AR Chassis, as seen in the classic manga Bakusō Kyōdai Let's & Go!!, the hobby of palm-sized four-wheel-drive racing has been around since 1968 and is beginning to gain momentum once again. This 4WD build requires zero glue and can be snapped together. This AR chassis sees big XLARGE branding, white and blue flame decals, and neon green wheels.
Making sure that this racer stays on its track are front and rear cowls, a large rear wing, motor cooling ducts, and low-friction bearings. Priced at ¥3,300 JPY (approximately $30 USD), the XLARGE x Tamiya Cyclone Magnum mini 4WD is set to release in Japan on July 31.
