SUPER73 Unveils State-of-the-Art Electric ZX Bike Model

SUPER73 has unveiled the latest addition to its Z-series line, featuring advanced electronics, a lighter 6061-T6 aluminum frame and a large removable battery.

The SUPER73-ZX arrives with an updated drive system, equipped with a number of multi-class ride modes. Each model is pre-programmed in the Class-2 riding mode, which provides throttle operation and pedal assist riding up to 20 miles per hour (mph), so that riders can legally use most bike paths and public roads without a license, insurance or registration.

The ZX is powered by a 615 watt-hour battery and a modern motor able to output up to 1350 watts of peak power, allowing riders to travel roughly 30 miles at 20 mph in throttle only mode and approximately 50 miles in ECO pedal assist mode.

The new construction welcomes an updated seat featuring an extended length for an additional small passenger and maximal comfort. The seat is planted atop the bike's aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum alloy frame, which is rust and corrosion resistant and able to withstand all riding conditions.

The SUPER73-ZX, which is available in both "Storm Grey" and "Moon Rock" hues, can be purchased on the manufacturer's website for $1,995 USD.

Elsewhere in design, Trek Bicycles debuted a new "First Light" colorway ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.
