Kanye West partnered with with all-star runner Sha'Carri Richardson and Beats to announce the official release date of his new album DONDA (named after his mother) and to preview a new song titled "No Child Left Behind."
The TV spot premiered during Game 6 of the NBA Finals and is the first and only official announcement of West's highly-anticipated new album. In the visual, Richardson wears the recently launched Beats Studio Buds and runs 100 meters to "No Child Left Behind." The video was scored and edited by West, and features the tagline "Live Your Truth."

DONDA drops this Friday. You can preview the album at a listening event livestream on Apple Music this Thursday at 8 p.m. EDT.
Richardson's feature it the spot was a poignant message after the 21-year-old star athlete was suspended for testing positive for THC, the main psychoactive component found in marijuana and subsequently left off of the U.S. Olympic team roster by USA Track and Field.
Dozens of athletes and celebrities have come forward to support Richardson after her shock disqualification.
