Amazon Game Studios has just released a new trailer for its upcoming MMO New World. After multiple delays, the company finally announced the game will be releasing this summer.
The trailer is exactly two minutes long and offers a comprehensive overview of the kind of gameplay players can expect. Just a while ago, Amazon showcased the game's war and invasion systems, but it's now revealed a new feature called Expeditions, the game's spin on instance dungeons, where up to five players can group up and uncover more of the game's story. Each generated instance will offer different challenges, which come with loot specific to that instance.
“Each 'Expedition' will tell its own story and be a unique experience,” says Amazon Game Studios in a blog post. "The Amrine Excavation" will be one of the first Expeditions to play throughout the game, among a handful of others.
Amazon Game Studios’ upcoming MMO New World will be releasing on August 31.
