Watch the Official Trailer for 'Last Man Standing: Suge Knight and the Murders of Biggie & Tupac'

The first trailer for Nick Broomfield's latest documentary, Last Man Standing: Suge Knight And The Murders Of Biggie & Tupac has officially dropped.

The new film is a follow-up to the director's critically acclaimed 2002 film, Biggie & Tupac, and examines the recently uncovered details surrounding the murders of two of hip-hop's most influential artists. The doc dives deep into the life of Suge Knight, who was the ex-CEO of legendary rap label, Death Row Records.

Knight was recently sentenced to 28 years in prison for manslaughter, as well as a long list of violent crimes. Additionally, Last Man Standing dissects Death Row and the connection it had with Los Angeles' street gang culture and how they dominated the inner business workings of the label. The film also explores the association Death Row had with the corrupt LA police officers and how it led to the death of Tupak Shakur and Biggie Smalls.

Broomfield also directed the infamous 1998 documentary Kurt & Courtney which detailed "compelling new evidence showing the involvement of the LAPD...and their attempt to conceal evidence" regarding the murders of Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac.

Last Man Standing releases on July 2 following a one-night-only in-cinema debut on June 30.

In case you missed it, Kevin Feige has recently admitted major regrets over casting Tilda Swinton as "The Ancient One" in Doctor Strange.
