NEIGHBORHOOD and Suicoke Unveil Its Forthcoming MOTO Sandal Collaboration

When it comes to collaborative initiatives, Suicoke has done anything but hold back as Q1 and Q2 for the brand has been repleted with projects alongside Nice Kicks, Wacko Maria, NEEDLES and more. And to close out the month of May, the Japanese stalwart is now — for the first time ever — linking up with NEIGHBORHOOD to present a two-pronged MOTO sandal collection.

The design is predicated on Suicoke's classic double strapped MOTO sandal but features noticeable modifications both in construction and pattern. Shinsuke Takizawa's notable imprint reimagines the easy-on-easy-off model with an additional strap on the heels, and decorates the underlying straps and heel pads with custom bandana patterns.  Additional embellishments to point out on these Summer-ready offerings are the NBHD logos that arrive printed on the heel velcro sections and the white Suicoke labels that are stationed on the lateral ends of the straps. Two colorways are included in this capsule, one being a more muted black colorway with purple patterns while the other is an earthy brown makeup whose upper and sole unit slightly contrast with different shades.

Mark your calendars for a Saturday, May 29 launch date via Suicoke, NEIGHBORHOOD, the NEIGHBORHOOD web store, and official retailers nationwide. The retail price will be $220 USD.

For other news, Suicoke recently unveiled its first ever apparel collection.
