Jake Paul Reportedly Set for Boxing Match With Former UFC Champion Tyron Woodley

According to Mike Coppinger of The Athletic, Jake Paul and former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley have agreed to an upcoming boxing match. The rumored bout is reportedly part of the YouTuber's multi-fight deal with Showtime and will be officially be announced later this week.

Now a free agent, Tyron Woodley became involved with Jake Paul and his team after a run-in ahead of the recent boxing match with former UFC fighter Ben Askren.

Joining the UFC as part of the acquisition of organization Strikeforce in 2011, Woodley put together a 19-7-1 winning the Welterweight title with a knockout victory over Robbie Lawler at UFC 201. But the MMA fighter lost his last four matches in the Octagon before being released by the UFC due to unsuccessful contract negotiations. While Jake Paul now has three professional boxing victories, which all ended in knockouts.
