Young Thug and his Young Stoner Life Records colleagues are looking to debut at No. 1 on next week's Billboard 200 with Slime Language 2.
According to HITS Daily Double, the group's sophomore compilation album is estimated to sell a total of 125,000 to 140,000 units with 3,000 to 5,000 album units, propelling them straight to the top of the chart. If the projections are correct, this will mark YSL's first No. 1 and will surpass Slime Language's No. 8 peak in August 2018.
Slime Language 2 featured a total of 23 tracks and included high-profile guest appearances from the likes of including Travis Scott on “Diamond Dancing,” Drake on “Solid,” Lil Baby and YTB Trench on “Paid the Fine,” Lil Uzi Vert and Yung Kayo on “Proud of You” Strick and Skepta on “WokStar,” Future on “Superstar” and Strick and Kid Cudi on “Moon Man.” The record dropped almost six months after Thugger first teased the release, which he initially he hinted to be November 2020.
Elsewhere in music, DMX's memorial at Barclays Center will reportedly be livestreamed.
