Great Wall Motors' WEY Tank brand has just unveiled a fascinating luxury SUV at the Shanghai Auto Show. This futuristic vehicle, named the Cybertank 300, appears to have borrowed quite a few elements from existing 4x4s -- even the name has a bit of Tesla's Cybertruck in it.
From the front of a 2021 Ford Bronco, the lines of a Mercedes-Benz G-Class, hood scoop and flared wheel arches of a Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution, the list goes on. Body kit aside, the entire SUV is fitted with a number of LED lights, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and a 224 horsepower 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that produces 285 lb-ft of torque. In the interior, the Cybertank 300 is very much tapping into the G-Wagon for its luxurious styling cues, with plush, quilted white-leather seating, large dual screens, and spiral air vents.
Considering the base model, the Tank 300, retails for roughly $27,000 USD, if this enhanced "Cybertank 300" version is priced within reason, it could be a fun alternative for the younger car driver out there looking to get noticed.
