Vacheron Constantin Introduces New Overseas Models for 2021

Swiss luxury watchmaker Vacheron Constantin has just introduced three new models to join its esteemed Overseas collection for 2021, including a pink gold tourbillon, and two ultra-thin perpetual calendars.

On the tourbillon front, the new addition this year taps into the use of 18K 5N pink gold for both its iconic 42.5mm case as well as the integrated bracelet. Sitting between its translucent blue-lacquered, sunburst satin-finished dial and a sapphire crystal display caseback is the in-house calibre 2160, a self-winding 30-jewel movement with an impressive power reserve of 80 hours. Accompanying the timepiece are two additional straps: one in blue rubber and another Mississippiensis alligator leather strap in the same color.

As for the two perpetual calendars, the watchmaker is now offering its new models in either a traditional or skeletonized dial. Carrying 41.5mm 18K white gold cases, the two watches measure in at just 8.1mm thick thanks to Vacheron Constantin's calibre 1120 QP/1 and QPSQ/1, which are both an incredible 4.05mm thin. A moon phase sits above 6 o'clock while the date, day of the week and month indicators occupy the remaining 3, 9, and 12 o'clock positions. The two models also come with both a blue alligator leather strap and a blue rubber strap.

For those interested, all three new Overseas models will be available at Vacheron Constantin boutiques in the near future.

Elsewhere in watches, Rolex has also released a host of new options for 2021.
