Joining the React lineup is Nike's latest React Atlas which is the epitome of everyday comfort wrapped up in a more style-forward construction. Aside from its "Move to Zero" initiative to reduce its carbon footprint, the sportswear giant has also been catering to the idea of meshing both comfort and practicality when creating new designs such as the React SFB Carbon which combines a boot-like construction with a cushy React midsole and carbon fiber plate technology.
This latest installment is built as its name suggests with blacked-out uppers contrasted with dark blues and greens. The shoe is constructed with a plush foam upper molded with grooves resembling waves such as the Air Max 720 to reduce stress on certain areas when bent. Hints of "Forest Green" detail the upper and lower eyestays while a "Navy Blue" hue lines the interiors and tongue as well as the overlay sitting under the embossed lateral Swoosh with a TPU outline. The plastic heel clip is wedged into an "Electric Blue" heel cap mold along with green clusters sitting atop a "Dark Blue" midsole and rubber outsole to seal everything together.
Look out for the Nike React Atlas slated to release sometime in 2022 via select retailers and Nike's website.
