After The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's finale on Disney+ flashed a new title — Captain America and the Winter Soldier — at its conclusion, it's now been revealed that Marvel is developing Captain America 4.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, a screenplay for Captain America 4 is in the works — and it's being written by Malcolm Spellman, head writer and creator of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, with assistance from show staff writer Dalan Musson.
As of now, official casting news for Captain America 4 has yet to be announced. However, due the conclusion of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson is all set up to take the mantle of Captain America from Steve Rodgers, who decided to return to the 1940's and live life as a normal man at the end of Avengers: Endgame. An even bigger hint is provided when Sam Wilson declares "I'm Captain America" at the show's conclusion.
