Drake and Lil Baby's "Wants & Needs" is now eligible for a gold plaque from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Chart Data revealed that the Scary Hours 2 collab sold 500,000 units in the United States in less than a month. Although the RIAA itself is yet to present the certification to Drizzy and Baby, fans can expect a new plaque for the cut (and the EP's two other songs) soon.
"Wants & Needs" joined "What's Next" and "Lemon Pepper Freestyle" with Rick Ross on Scary Hours 2, and all three tracks debuted at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 — making Drake the first rapper to simultaneously hold the top three spots. Eager fans are expecting the cuts to appear on the OVO head's highly-anticipated studio album Certified Lover Boy, which DJ Akademiks claimed will release before April 2021.
