Following a range of collaborations with the likes of Union, MIYAGiHIDETAKA, and AWGE earlier this year, Keizo Shimizu's Needles closes out 2021 with a debut capsule with luxury avant-garde boutique Maxfield LA. Myles Hendrik is enlisted to photograph the lookbook starring infamous single-needle tattoo artist Dr. Woo at Hollywood's landmark 101 Coffee Shop.
The upcoming four-piece collection features Needles' signature silhouettes displaying its trademark butterfly motif alongside Maxfield's cursive logo. Collaborative pieces include Needles' iconic Velour tracksuits in light sage and red/pink stripe detailing, a Hibiscus flower print cowboy shirt, and a fuzzy Polka Dot Mohair Cardigan with a button front and rib-knit trim. Aside from the joint capsule, Maxfield is also stocking Needles velour tracksuits in dark purple and green hues, and a burgundy diamond-patterned robe consisting of a silk and cupro blend.
The Maxfield x Needles capsule collection is now available exclusively at Maxfield LA, Malibu, and the Maxfield online store.
