Emerging label Body of Work has launched its first collection, showcasing its focus on thoughtful design and high-quality pieces through a range of Made in Canada sportswear.
The initial offering features classic pieces, with a sweatshirt and sweatpants arriving in simple black or “Ash” colorways, while a boxy T-shirt also comes in white . All of the items are designed, knitted, dyed, cut and sewn in Canada, with production taking place just an hour away from the Toronto-based design studio.
Launching the debut collection, Body of Work co-founder Brittney MacKinnon said, “Living an active lifestyle can carry a reputation of being intense, prescriptive and lacking in aesthetic quality. We craft Canadian-made products designed with integrity that offer utility, longevity and an understated beauty. Body of Work offers an alternative interpretation of what it means to live an active lifestyle.”
The first collection from Body of Work is available now from the label’s web store.
In other fashion news, JW Anderson and UNIQLO presented their latest collaboration.
