Megan Thee Stallion has teamed up with Popeyes for her very own signature sauce.
Dubbed the "Hottie," the sauce will reportedly be crafted with honey, cider vinegar and Aleppo paper and will be sold on Popeyes' famed chicken sandwich, marking the first time the chain has tried out a new taste for the menu item. The Hottie sauce was announced with a teaser, which shows the artist in a bedazzled outfit in her home of Houston, Texas and will also arrive with collaborative merchandise that offers “bikinis, long sleeve shirts, hats, tumblers" and a "Popeyes chicken tenders plush dog toy.”
In addition to her signature sauce, the Hot Girl announced that she is now the newest Popeyes franchisee and will be opening a number of Popeyes locations in the future. “Teaming up with Popeyes is such a milestone in my journey and evolution as an entrepreneur," Megan Thee Stallion shared in a statement.
Megan Thee Stallion and Popeyes' "Hottie" sauce will be available nationwide starting October 19.
Elsewhere in food and beverage, McDonald's will test Beyond Meat in seven locations across the United States.
