DJI has just unveiled its latest invention for the world of cinematography. Arriving in the form of a new cinema camera, the DJI Ronin 4D adds a new angle to filming by incorporating a built-in 4-axis gimbal.
The camera system itself is the Zenmuse X9 which will come in either a 6K version or an 8K model. Its full-frame sensor and interchangeable mounting system also allow for a variety of lenses. Features include three focusing modes, nine internal ND filters, a weight of roughly 10 pounds, and an impressive LiDAR focusing system.
The DJI Ronin 4D is priced at $7,199 USD for the 6K and $11,499 USD for the 8K version. Check out the introductory video below from DJI.
