Looking to stand out in the music world, 23-year-old Mexican reggaeton rapper Dan Sur decided to surgically implant chains into his scalp. With the drastic move, Sur now accepting that he is "the first rapper to have gold hair implanted in human history."

In a video on Tiktok, Sur offered some insight into why he decided to replace his hair with chains, "the truth is that I wanted to do something different because I see that everyone dyes their hair. I hope not everyone copies me now." Going on to outline the procedure in another video, "I have it as a hook that is implanted in my head and that hook has hooks and they are all hooked in my skull, under my skin."
