Nigel Sylvester's BMX-infused brand GO has teamed up with the Pharrell Williams and Billionaire Boys Club-affiliated label ICECREAM for a two-part collaborative partnership. Kicking off with the inaugural collection, GO x ICECREAM presents "ICECREAM to Real Cream," which aims to highlight Sylvester's childhood love for BMXing which he since turned into his profession.
Speaking on the collaboration, Sylvester said, "'ICECREAM To Real Cream' illustrates my evolution and love for BMX riding through GO and BBC ICECREAM." He added, "This capsule starts with how I fell in love with BMX riding, rolling through the streets around Queens during those hot summer days hanging with friends. That experience, energy and spirit catapulted me towards accomplishing my dream of going pro. Now, I have the ability to truly live out my imagination and that drives me forward."
Part one of the collaboration is spotlighted and portrayed in a short film that sees Sylvester take on Queens, NYC, on his signature companion -- the BMX. Depicted as a typical summer's day of Sylvester's youth, the film goes on to see other riders such as Markell Jones, BS Ballout, and Donovan Howard wear the latest pieces from the collaboration.
This includes various T-shirts, notably one which combines the ICECREAM "Cones n Bones" motif with skid marks on the front of the tee, and another that uses the brand's running dog logo on the rear alongside the words "En Route." Elsewhere, shorts, socks, and dual-branded tees appear, rounding out the first drop.
