Following team-ups with GucciMaze, Street Fighter V, Evisen Skateboards, Naruto and Boruto, the Seiko 5 Sports watch has been the go-to silhouette for contemporary Seiko collaborations. Most recently, BAIT is offering 2,000 limited edition BAIT x Astro Boy x Seiko 5 Sports watches for sale via raffle.
The blacked-out watch features an automatic movement enclosed in a 42.55 mm stainless steel case. A coin edge stainless steel bezel with an unpainted steel inner edge sits above the black dial featuring glow-in-the-dark Astro Boy head circuit artwork, a day-date display, skeleton two-tone hands, and co-branding motifs. The specific model number out of 2000 is displayed on the rim of the graphic-adorned open case back, and 10 bar water resistance indicates the watch can be worn while swimming and snorkeling.
The raffle is now available on the BAIT website for $460 USD. Winners will be notified by October 8, and a money request will be sent through PayPal. Special packaging and a gift come with a direct purchase through BAIT.
This timepiece will be the first of two in the BAIT x SEIKO series with the second model set to arrive in November.
