Anderson Silva knocked out Tito Ortiz in the first round of the co-main event of Triller Fight Club Legends II at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on Saturday evening.
The Silva v. Ortiz match, which streamed on Fite TV pay-per-view, was scheduled to take place across eight rounds, but only lasted 81 seconds into the first, after UFC legend Silva slammed Ortiz to the canvas with a slew of quick cuts.

Ortiz opened the round dominating the center of the ring and charging toward Silva, who defended himself against the ropes. Silva dodged Ortiz's several wide hooks, before swiftly countering with a right hand that initially stunned Ortiz, followed by two left-handed swings that ultimately sent Ortiz to the ground, resulting in a knockout victory at 1:21 in the first round.
The bout marked Silva's second boxing match of this year since departing from MMA to pursue professional boxing. In June, the former UFC middleweight champion defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
Following his victory, Silva claimed he was not surprised by the outcome. "No, I'm training hard for this fight and training hard to show my respect for boxing," Silva said, according to CBS Sports. "I continue to work everyday to show my respect to martial arts."
