Nike Releases OverBreak SP in Summer-Ready "Light Bone/Metallic Silver"

The Nike OverBreak SP is arguably one of the sportswear giants' unsung heroes, appearing in makeups such as the Tom Sachs Mars Yard-esque "Fossil" colorway and in a "Chaos/Balance" rework by the hands of UNDERCOVER, and now it appears in its cleanest overhaul to date: "Light Bone/Metallic Silver."

Constructed from a textile material that looks like suede, the OverBreak SP seen above features all of its standard features in light hues that make it the perfect sneaker for the last of the summer months. A bright white synthetic rubber toe cap is seen at the front and continues to make up the bulbous, textured foam rubber sole unit that gives the sneaker its signature look, while elsewhere around the shoe Nike has added more lively touches.

For example, the Swoosh is made from "Metallic Silver" leather, leading up to heel tabs in blue leather where Nike's stamp can be found in white. More blue lines the shoe's interior, which subsequently leads the eye back to the classic Nike-branded tongue tag.

Rounding out the Nike OverBreak SP is its tonal rope laces. All of this summer-ready goodness from Nike costs $190 USD, and can be bought from retailers such as Très Bien now.

Elsewhere, the Nike Waffle One has been given an ACG-inspired makeover.
