Just a day ahead of the start of Rolling Loud Miami, the festival's Hard Rock Stadium collapsed with footage showing the projection screen completely crashing down.
Rolling Loud has officially released a statement sharing that the entirety of the stage is not completely affected since it was just the screen that collapsed. The festival team is working around the clock to repair the projection screen. Despite the setback, the festival is still set to continue as planned. The festival organizers have not confirmed what exactly caused the collapse of the screen, however, the statement reassured that "there were no injuries and the stage is being reset for the weekend."
Rolling Loud Miami 2021 begins on July 23 and will run through the weekend until July 25. The festival finally returns to Miami for the first time in two years and is set to feature performances from Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Post Malone, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage and Young Thug.
In case you see it on the news, a screen fell down at one of our stages. Nobody was hurt and it will be fixed before doors open tomorrow. The show goes on!
