To celebrate the opening of it's new Beverly Hills location, Moncler worked with Los Angeles-artist Steven Harrington on three unique Pupazzo sculptures.
Introduced by the Italian brand back in 2019, Pupazzo carries a mountain spirit that has a little wild side in it. A mascot of sorts that reflects the brands luxurious take on timeless skiwear, but fleeced up with a contemporary spin that has seen the brand collaborate with the likes of Hiroshi Fujiwara and ALYX 9SM, amongst the many.
Enter the Rodeo Drive location to find two massive palm tree sculptures at the store's entrance. Further along in the store and you can find a massive Pupazzo Harrington designed in an all cloud print puffer jacket — emblematic of the brands skiing roots. Each of the three sculptures carry its own unique imprint featuring Harrington's psychedelic California aesthetic that has featured in museums and galleries from LA to Brussels to Seoul. For the store unveiling, Harrington, along with a list of notable guests attended. From Maddie Ziegler and Kiernan Shipka, to Shaun White.
Also happening in art, LACMA has unveiled the largest Yoshitomo Nara retrospective to date.
