Reports are now noting that the two players set to become unrestricted free agents have their sights set on the Lakers this offseason.
Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan famously played for the Toronto Raptors for six seasons, becoming a dynamic duo with five playoff appearances and earning four division titles. The two were split up in 2018's blockbuster Kawhi Leonard trade with the San Antonio Spurs. Last season, DeRozan earned $27.7 million USD with the Spurs and Lowry made $31 million USD with the Raptors.
