Paying homage to its former name BRS (Blue Ribbon Sports) founded back in 1964, Nike has reimagined the ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% 2 in another colorway, with motifs of its earlier days.
Dubbed "BRS", the ZoomX-cushioned shoes are built with an updated engineered mesh upper in white with tonal shoelaces, while faint black swooshes intersect the entire design from the forefoot, extending to the medial side. The boldest part of the silhouette is the black and university gold tiger stripes on the mudguard, the tongue and the strip going down the heel. For branding, the "BRS" stamp is printed on the lateral heel with the old address spotted at the insoles. To finish off the look, a traditional white ZoomX midsole sits atop a full-length carbon fiber plate for enhanced performance and added contrast to the eye-catching animal print,
Priced at $250 USD, the Nike ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% 2 BRS should be arriving in the coming months.
