Reebok and Daniel Moon have joined forces on two sneaker silhouettes evoking Moon's signature hair art, titled "Major Reebok."
Moon, who owns the unconventional Hair Los Angeles salon, is known for his boundary-pushing hair transformations that dominate pop culture across famous heads including those of Kevin Abstract, Kristen Stewart and Hayley Kiyoko. Before his move into hair coloring, the "King of Color" served in the Marine Corps, where a lack of individuality powered his penchant for creativity.
“After my service, where hair was very standardized, I made a vow to practice complete self-expression,” Moon said in a statement. “I have my products like Major Moonshine, a hair glitter, and the Major Apron… I see the [Major Reebok] shoe as an armor that completes the colorful Major Moon wardrobe — head to toe.”
In the collection, two shoes — the Classic Leather Legacy and the Club C Legacy — enlist vibrant colorways inspired by Moon's most requested hair colors. The former features leather inclusions on the heel, intended to mimic the nature of a shaved head.

“The sock liner of the Classic Leather Legacy is a photograph of an actual hair piece that I worked on,” Moon explained of the design. “It serves as a blueprint of the shoes.”
The Club C Legacy draws from a bright solar green and pink color palette, supplemented with transparent materials inspired by Moon's Major Apron, an elevated-yet-functional apron used by hair stylists around the world.
“These colors represent the same feeling of hyper freedom that my hair art brings to my clients,” describes Moon. “They instantly go in your bloodstream and change your mood to a new tier of exaggerated fun.”
Both silhouettes will arrive with one pair of fuzzy laces, nodding to Moon's long-standing legacy in hair coloring.
The collection will be available to shop on Reebok's website beginning June 24 at 10 a.m. EDT. The Classic Leather Legacy is priced at $90 USD and the Club C Legacy is listed at $100 USD.
Elsewhere in footwear, Reebok unveiled a new iteration of its cozy Beatnik silhouette.
