'Far Cry 6' Season Pass Will Let You Play as the Franchise's Past Three Villains

Ubisoft has just announced the first season pass for the upcoming Far Cry 6 over at E3 that'll let you play as some of the franchise's biggest villains.

According to the trailer (which you can view above), the new season pass will include gaming experiences for players to become the main villains from the past three installments of the franchise, including Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5, Pagan Min from Far Cry 4, and Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3. The DLC's description says that you'll be able to "Delve into these iconic villain’s twisted minds, uncover their backstories, battle their inner demons, and reunite with familiar faces." As an added bonus, the DLC will also include Far Cry 3's massively popular expansion pack, Blood Dragon.

As for the latest installment itself, players will be thrust onto the fictional Caribbean island of Yara, a location inspired by Cuba, where you'll play as a local guerilla soldier named Dani Rojas. The region is ruled by dictator Antón Castillo (played by Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian veteran Giancarlo Esposito, who is raising his son Diego to take over the reins of his fascist regime.

Ubisoft's Far Cry 6 will arrive on October 7, and the villainous season pass will be included in the game's Gold, Ultimate and Collector's Editions.

Elsewhere in E3, Nintendo has teased a new Mario + Rabbids trailer.
