Nike's Blazer Mid '77 Receives "Glacier Ice" Makeover

Nike's classic Blazer Mid ’77 has been given a crisp “Glacier Ice” makeover. The shoe is built with a handful of sustainable materials as part of Nike's "Move to Zero" initiative, the footwear brand's efforts to eliminate waste in the production process.

This shoe features cream-colored uppers, constructed in a mix of batted nylon, mesh, full-grain leather and suede. A small “Nike” tag appears over the shoe's tongue, complemented by red "Nike" branding that's stitched onto the heel tab. A navy Swoosh is placed over the sidewalls, while Nike's "Move to Zero" logo appears at the rear quarter. All of these details rest over an icy semi-translucent midsole, finished off with a speckled outsole made from sustainable Nike Grind materials.

No official release dates have been confirmed, but Nike’s Blazer Mid ’77 “Glacier Ice” is expected to land on Nike’s website soon for $100 USD.

In case you missed it, here's a look at Nike's Blazer Mid '77 military-inspired "Light Army" colorway.
