After rejecting Jake Paul's boxing match challenge, MMA figure Daniel Cormier confronted the despised social media superstar at UFC 261.
During a preliminary fight during UFC 261 at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, fans in attendance began chanting "f*ck Jake Paul" as Paul made his way to his seat. The chants were so loud that beloved UFC color commentator Joe Rogan had to note what was happening during the broadcast. That was when Cormier revealed that he had an altercation with Paul earlier after the two exchanged heated messages on social media.
"I just saw Jake Paul and I pointed at him and said don’t play with me," said Cormier. "Cause I’ll smack him in the face. He’s right there. I’ll slap [him]. I don’t play those games, Joe." Footage of the retired UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion's confrontation has now surfaced showing a shouting match that was broken up by UFC security.
