A new and unreleased version of MF DOOM's "Dead Bent" music video is being sold as an NFT.
The visual was shot by Adam Bhala Lough, who claims that he and the colorist of the remastered video are the only two people who have seen the alternate version. DOOM and the team created the unreleased visual on the same November 2000 day they shot the original released version, with Lough filming the late artist along 1st Avenue in the East Village of New York using Kodak 7231 Plus-X negative black and white 16mm film.
The winning bidder will also receive a selection of memorabilia related to the music video, including the original 16mm film negative, documentation and the canister label.
The NFT's reserve price is currently at 99 Ether (approximately $268,000 USD) and half of the proceeds will be given to DOOM's estate.
The auction begins April 28. Watch the original released version above and check out the auction's official website for more info.
