During Capcom's Resident Evil showcase, new details were revealed regarding the highly-anticipated and upcoming Netflix anime, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.
The new trailer alludes to previous teasers, building on the story of Claire exploring a haunted house. Audiences now catch a bigger glimpse of Claire in the White House with Leon as they help PResident Graham escape.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is set to take place just two years after the events of Resident Evil 4 where Leon was asked by the president himself to save his daughter, Ashley. Leon is then invited to the White House to further the investigation of who received the classified presidential files. The lights suddenly go out, and a cohort of zombies reappear. Claire, who is on her own visit to the White House, is seen beginning to work with Leon as they discover that there may be a link between the two incidents.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is coming to Netflix in July 2021.
