Moser Drops Mega Cool Pioneers and Tiger's Eye Endeavors

H. Moser & Cie has dropped a trio of new watches ahead of tomorrow's Watches and Wonders digital trade fair, which sees 38 watch brands reveal their 2021 releases.

First up, Moser's sporty 43mm steel Pioneer collection see a new 'MEGA Cool' variant released as both central seconds and tourbillon models. The watches feature Moser's Blue Lagoon smoked or fumé dial, with transparent lacquered branding at the 12 o'clock position, which is a new twist on the Swiss brand's attempts to debrand itself, most recently seen in its collaboration with Parisian modder, seconde/seconde/.

Each model is available secured on either a rubber strap, stainless steel bracelet or a colour-match Kevlar strap.

The brand has also treated its 40mm Endeavour Tourbillon to two semi-precious stone dials in Ox's Eye and Falcon's Eye, both members of the Tiger's Eye family. Neither dial is branded, or indeed features any kind of marking, instead handing the spotlight over to the stone and the 60-second tourbillon mounted at the six o'clock position.

Moser has paired the blue Falcon's Eye stone with an 18k white gold case and the red Ox's Eye dial with an equally warm 18k red gold case with just 50 pieces of each being produced, the limitation due to the availability of suitable stones with the necessary parallel line patterning.

Inside each watch is the brand's in-house 3Hz HMC 804 movement with twin matched hairsprings.

The watches are all available now via Moser, with the Pioneer Centre Seconds MEGA Cool priced $15,300 USD while the Pioneer Tourbillon MEGA Cool is $54,900 USD and both of the Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Tiger’s Eye are $75,900 USD.

In other watch news, Ulysse Nardin has merged two of its most popular designs for a new limited edition diver.
